1. Return Eligibility
You have 7 days after you have received your product to initiate a return. If more than 7 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.
To qualify for a return and refund, the product must remain in a sellable condition. Reasonable testing to assess the item’s suitability is permitted; however, the product must not show signs of use beyond what is necessary to evaluate its functionality. All items must be returned in their original, undamaged packaging with any included tags and accessories intact.
2. Non-Returnable Items
Certain items are not eligible for return, including:
- Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, newspapers, magazines).
- Intimate or sanitary products.
- Hazardous materials or flammable liquids and gases.
- Gift cards.
- Downloadable software products.
- Certain health and personal care items.
3. Return Requirements
To process your return, a receipt or proof of purchase is required. Please do not return your purchase to the manufacturer directly.
4. Partial Refunds
In some cases, only partial refunds may be granted:
- Books with obvious signs of use.
- CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, software, video games, cassette tapes, or vinyl records that have been opened.
- Items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Items returned more than 30 days after delivery.
5. Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed and applied to your credit card or original method of payment within a certain number of days.
6. Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund:
- Check your bank account again.
- Contact your credit card company; it may take some time for the refund to be officially posted.
- Contact your bank, as there is often processing time before a refund is posted. If you have done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at info@techthrive.co.za.
7. Sale Items
Only regular-priced items are eligible for a refund. Sale items cannot be refunded.
8. Exchanges
We replace items only if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, please contact us at info@techthrive.co.za.
9. Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once we receive the returned item, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item was not marked as a gift, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver, who will be informed of your return.
10. Shipping

You are responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Free shipping will be reversed and the ordinary shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount.
Depending on your location, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
For items valued over R1500, we recommend using a traceable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee receipt of your returned item.
